WHY WE NEED TO SUPPORT YOUNG STUDENT-ATHLETES
A PROBLEM WORTH SOLVING
Despite a post-pandemic recent resurgence of youth participation in sports, an important aspect of development in both the physical and mental component needed, is the ability to access professional sports performance training programs. According to recent studies, decreased funding in youth sports programs across the country has had a profound effect on athletes from ages 13 to 17 years of age. These sports teams are now often run by volunteers who have little to no experience in coaching or training athletes. This has led to an increase in injury rates, inadequate training programs, little to no uniforms/equipment and a decrease in an athlete’s confidence.
Introducing sports performance training to youth athletes will give them a competitive edge, improve their sport specific skills as well as valuable life skills. According to experts, youth athletes who are exposed to professional performance training are challenged more neurologically, develop stronger social skills, healthy habits, self discipline, sportsmanship, listening and comprehension skills, all of which are of key importance as they grow into adulthood.
In a recent study, athletes exposed to professional sports performance training had a positive impact on their physical and mental approach to their training, competition and general life outside of sports. We are taking a leadership role in empowering youth athletes who can benefit from experiencing professional sports performance training.
As Certified Sports Performance Trainers under the National Academy of Sports Performance (NASM), we have had the honor of training youth athletes from various demographics around the world. We have seen how athletes have excelled on and off the field after exposure to professional sports performance training. In our youth years as athletes, we were fortunate to receive training from some of the top athletes in the country. We want to empower youth athletes by offering them the same training experience.
We are taking a leadership role in exposing youth athletes to professional sports performance training. Our sports performance camp exposes athletes to an elite level of science-based training in neurocognitive/sports vision training (Senaptec), nutrition, speed & agility, multi-planar movement, explosive power, vertical jump training (Vertimax), body weight training, weight training (older athletes), yoga/flexibility and exercises. Athletes are guided through the dynamics of the physical and mental aspects of training, practicing and competing in their sport.
This 1-week camp introduces technology and training modalities utilized by some of our professional sports clients in the NHL, NBA, NFL, MLB, FIFA, WNBA an US Olympic training facilities. We have designed this camp to specifically engage youth athletes in true professional sports performance training to improve their athleticism in their respective sports.
Athletes will learn about sports performance training and experience first-hand that it is more than general fitness. It involves training the mind and body while increasing their confidence. Our goal is to help them reach their performance goals in their sport and more importantly in life!
We are offering corporate sponsors the opportunity to strengthen more viable partnerships between youth athletes, parents, schools, youth sports programs and organizations which service youth sports. It is our hope you can join us to achieve this by supporting our efforts to provide an atmosphere for corporate sponsors to fortify their client base and foster new relationships and exposure within various markets.
Corporations looking to expand their corporate philanthropy profile nationally, as well as to increase their social media profiles, are urged to take advantage of an opportunity to position their branding with our camp advertising campaign.
Our Sponsorship Packages comprise a range of opportunities (depending on the level of sponsorship) including branding on our web site, notices in weekly communications via our social media outlets, blogs, podcasts and live features aired before and during the camp. These programs are specifically produced to inform and encourage athletes and parents about our camp. In addition, those participating in coaching, presenting workshops and activities will appear on our website and weekly podcast.
Don’t miss this opportunity to be an important part of planting the seeds of success to increase athleticism in our next generation of top student-athlete and professional athletes. Help us create this experience in a fun, positive, environment on the beautiful overnight camp site of Camp Green Lane in Montgomery County, PA.
